CBI registers case against Principal of NDA, others; conducts searches

New Delhi, The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against Principal of National Defence Academy (NDA) , Khadakwasla, Pune; four professors and unknown others in connection with alleged irregularities in the selection/appointment in different posts of teaching faculty in the Academy. “A case under section 120 B , 420, 465, 471 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and 13(2)r/w 13(1)(d) of PC Act 1988 was registered against Principal NDA, Khadakwasla, Pune; a Professor, Political Science; two Assistant Professors of Chemistry, Mathematics; a HOD, Chemistry and unknown others on the allegations of irregularities in the selection/appointment in different posts of teaching faculty in NDA,” the probe agency said. The CBI said that searches are being conducted today at the premises including Office/ residential of accused at Pune.
