Children learn Braille script


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal Bhopal Composite Regional Centre and Sankalp A Step Towards Humanity jointly organized a programme at Navyuvak Sabha School Bairagarh on Thursday on the occasion of Braille Day to teach Braille script to all students. Nikki Wadhwani of Sankalp A Step Towards Humanity informed that Braille script was taught to about 350 students. The script was taught to all guests and children present in the auditorium and refreshment was given to them. Aruna Raghuvanshi appreciated the initiative and informed the participants about the government schemes. He said now information at notice boards at railway stations are pasted in Braille script, besides Roman and Devnagiri. Bhashit Dixit said just as a firefly removes darkness in the same way Louis Braille filled the life of Divyangs with the light of education through his invention of the Braille script. Shyam Singh of the NGO taught Braille script to students. Vishal Chouksey, Muskan Wadhwani, Neelima Patel and Jyoti Bhojwani were present on the occasion.
