Chouhan launched G.I.S. 2019 and Invest MP Portal


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has launched two web portal- G.I.S. 2019 and Invest M.P. Portal in a Curtain Raiser programme organised for Global Investors Summit 2019 at New Delhi today. He invited Diplomats and Industrialists to visit and invest in Madhya Pradesh. The Global Investors Summit has been decided to be held at Indore on February 23 and 24.Principal Secretary to CM S.K. Mishra and Senior Officers of Centre as well as the state were present in the programme. Chouhan elaborated on overall development taking place in Madhya Pradesh and invited diplomats and industrialists, present on the occasion to set up industries in the state. He informed that there is a vast scope in Madhya Pradesh. Besides mineral resources, the complete infrastructure has been developed in the state. Madhya Pradesh is a surplus state in the field of energy. Road network has been laid in the entire state. Water is available in abundance in the state. Moreover, state has over 40 lakh hectare irrigated land. Madhya Pradesh has set a new record by winning Krishi Karman Award in the field of agriculture for consecutive 5 years. The agriculture growth rate has been registered as over 20 percent since last so many years in the field of agriculture. The growth rate of Madhya Pradesh is in double digit since the last seven years. Along with this the bureaucracy of Madhya Pradesh has been proved always helpful in this regard. The skilled manpower is always available in Madhya Pradesh. In toto, the geographical position of the state, infrastructure and political stability of the state is better for investment in comparison to other states. Before this, the Minister for Commerce and Industry Rajendra Shukla, while addressing the Industrialists, has informed that investors can get themselves connected directly with 6 departments and 22 services with the help of Invest Portal M.P. and they can get all kind of information at home through the portal without any inconvenience. Principal Secretary Commerce and Industry Mohammad Suleman gave information in detail about both the web portals through presentation.
