Chief Secretary Delibrates with District Collectors through Video Conference

Chief Secretary B. P. Singh gave instructions to district collectors through Parakh Video conference today that survey to assess crop loss due to the hailstorm in the state should be conducted carefully. Teams of revenue, agriculture and panchayat department should be formed and participation of public representatives should be ensured in the survey.
Principal Secretary Revenue Arun Pandey said that transparency should be maintained in the survey work. Survey list should be pasted in gram panchayats also.
He informed that a relief amount of Rs. 30 thousand and Rs. 16 thousand per hectare, on loss of over 50 percent irrigated and non-irrigated crop respectively will be provided to small and marginal farmer now. Similarly, provision of Rs. 27 thousand and Rs. 13 thousand per hectare to other farmers (Holding over 2 hectare land) has been made for irrigated and non-irrigated crops.
Keeping in view the examinations, Principal Secretary School Education Smt. Deepti Goud Mukherjee gave instructions to the collectors to impose section 144 around the examination centers, posting of sector magistrate and for making an examination control room.
Principal Secretary Energy I.C.P. Keshri informed that keeping in account the potable water and examinations, the remaining transformers will be made functional within time limit. Moreover, instructions to give hundred percent electricity connections till October 2018 in the state were given during the video conference.
During the review of the closed Nal-Jal supply schemes, directives were given to accelerate the work speed in Sagar, Tikamgarh and Vidisha district.
Moreover, during the review of arrangements being made for the registration for Rabi -2018 under the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana, Director Agriculture Mohanlal Meena has informed that registration will be carried out from February 12 to March 12.
Registration of red lentil, onion, mustard and gram has to be carried out. Progress of soil health card distribution, soil testing and E-NAM (National Agriculture Market) were also reviewed.
Directives to conduct special campaigns for registration of pregnant and lactating women under the Pradhan Mantri Matra Vandana Yojana were given to the collectors. Emphasis was laid on need of special efforts in Singruali, Tikamgarh, Badwani, Chhatrpur and Shivpuri district. Principal Secretary Health Smt. Gouri Singh gave instructions to upgrade district hospitals on the lines of Bhind district hospital.
She informed that services of experts will be taken by the department to undertake development works in district hospitals.
Additional Chief Secretary General Administration Prabhanshu Kamal, Principal Secretary Women and Child Development J.N. Kansotiya, Principal Secretary Public Health Engineering Pramod Agrawal and other Senior Officers were present in the video conference.
