Cong breaks pitchers over drinking water problem


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, District Congress staged a demonstration by breaking pitchers to protest against the severe drinking water shortage being faced by the residents of Gulmohar, Trilanga, and Shahpura. Former MLA PC Sharma said the Gulmohar Colony faces acute drinking water shortage. He said the BMC must permanently resolve this problem. The sewage problem in Trilanga should be solved. He said roads, Sulabh Complex and new sewerage system should be built. The Congress workers staged dharna at Shivay Market Gulmohar and broke empty pitchers in protest. Among those who participated in the dharna included PC Sharma, Kailash Mishra, Ishwar Singh Chauhan, Vibha Patel, Mohammad Sagir, Santosh Kansana, Guddu Chauhan, Rafiq Qureshi, Anand Soni, Avinsh kadwe, Vijendra Shukla, Hukum Suraiyya, Nikesh Chauhan, Bhanu Chauhan and others.
