Addressing the students at London School of Economics, Rahul said, "next LS polls will see BJP on one side and the entire opposition on the other". This, he said, is because the entire opposition and even several leaders within BJP feel that for the first time an organisation is 'changing' the very idea of India -- something that has never happened in last 70 years. "We need to defend this and fight 'one-man rule' that has brought all the opposition parties together.' "What we are defending is an onslaught on the Indian Constitution and Indian institutions. Congress and the entire opposition see it as a battle to defend idea of India,’’Rahul said. At the event, Mr Gandhi also said that the Congress was talking to various stakeholders as part of the process of preparing a manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections.
