Rich tributes were paid to late Subhash Yadav on his birth anniversary at a programme held at state Congress office on Sunday. The Congress leaders and workers garlanded the portrait of Yadav and paid him their floral tributes.
Remembering Subhash Yadav, the Congress functionaries said he worked tirelessly for the welfare and upliftment of the farmers, poor and downtrodden, Dalits, tribals, minorities and backward classes. He launched the most powerful movement for cooperatives in the state.
State Congress general secretary PC Sharma, former mayor Deepchand Yadav, Ravi Saxena and others said late Yadav worked for the farmers and for the women. He was also an able administrator and even agitated against the government in the interest of farmers. Senior Congress leader Ashok Jain Bhabha administered oath to the party men to follow the path shown by Subhash Yadav.
Among those who paid their homage to late Yadav included former MP Surendra Singh Thakur, Dr. Mahendra Singh Chauhan, Abha Singh, Mandvi Chauhan, spokesman JP Dhanopia, Sajid Ali, Lokman Kushwaha, Jitendrasingh Baghel, Samir Ahmad, BS Sharma, Mirza Noor baig, Moin-uddin Siddiqui, Guddu Chauhan, Anand Taran, Mahesh sahu, M Idris Khan, Rashida Mustafa, Sitaram Yadav, Ramraj Tiwari, Shahwar Alam. Mohammad Rais Khan Babloo, Sahid Khan, AB Khan, Shoeb Gandhi, Vijay Sarvaiyya and others.
