5/7/2019

Jaunpur, Targeting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati here on Tuesday claimed that an "economic crisis" had hit the country after demonetisation and Goods and Services Tax (GST) were implemented without any "prior and proper planning".

Addressing an electoral rally at the Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Ms Mayawati said that due to the 'wrong' policies of the BJP, unemployment and poverty have increased. "Demonetisation and GST were implemented without any planning which led to an economic crisis in the country and people became unemployed," she claimed.
Ms Mayawati said that this time, the public had understood 'Namo namo's lies' and 'jumlebazi.' They will go out of power after the results come out on May 23, she claimed.
"People should remain careful about the BJP and Congress's electoral temptations. After Independence, both these parties have remained in power at the Centre and in the state maximum time. But because of their 'wrong' policies, the country is in such a condition today. Unemployment and poverty have 'risen'," the BSP president said.
Attacking BJP government, the BSP chief said this is a government of 'jumlebaz' people. "Not even one-fourth of the promises which were made in 2014 elections were kept," she claimed.
"Today, UP is reeling under the menace of stray animals who are destroying the crops of the farmers. Farmers are perturbed and guarding their farms day and night due to this problem," Ms Mayawati said.
The BSP chief claimed BJP is 'worried' as the Mahagathbandhan candidates were 'winning' in all the phases of elections held till now. She alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was asking for votes in the name of martyrs. "This effort filled with dishonesty should not succeed," the BSP president said.
"Not only the country, but the whole world knows that due to the Modi government's lax attitude, the jawans on the border were being martyred in large numbers," Ms Mayawati claimed.
The BSP chief averred that PM Modi had lost his sleep because of the SP-BSP-RLD Mahagathbandhan and that was the reason why myths were being circulated among the people regarding the alliance by him.The alliance is strong and conspiracies to break it are not going to succeed, she said.
Attacking Congress party, Ms Mayawati said that due to Congress party's 'wrong' policies, BJP came to power.Ms Mayawati exuded confidence that the alliance will win Jaunpur and Machhlishahr seats.
