Directives for maintaining proper supply of cash in all districts

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal Directives have been given during the Parakh Video conference concluded under the Chairmanship of the Chief Secretary Basant Pratap Singh for maintaining proper arrangement as regard to supply of cash in all the districts with the cooperation of Reserve Bank of India and other Banks. District Collectors have been advised to keep constant contact with the bank officials in this connection. During the video conferencing, those 8 districts were also reviewed, which will be discussed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the collectors on April 24 at Mandla on the basis of recommendations of NITI Ayog. Procurement status of wheat, gram, red lentil, opening of new shops in villages which do not have fair price shops, preparations for potable water arrangement during summer season and scheme begun for the welfare of the labourers of unorganized sector were also reviewed during the Parakh Video conference. Necessary instructions were given regarding new categories included in the Pradhanmantri Ujjawala Yojana, implementation of Soubhagya Yojana and in context to the ongoing activities at district level for aadhaar registration of scheduled caste and tribe category. The Principal Secretary Food and Civil Supplies said that Divisional Commissioners must conduct regular review of farmers’ verification. He further mentioned that the procedure adopted to send SMS to the farmers is being decentralized. The Chief Secretary Singh gave permission to start procurement center at Damjipura of Betul. In connection to the potable water arrangement during the summer season, Singh stated that the collectors should review status of potable water constantly. Necessary directives regarding alternative arrangement of tap-water schemes in Seoni and Tiakamgarh district, immediate repair of handpumps in Satna, Bhind, Rajgarh and Dhar district were also given in the conference. It was informed during the video conference that patta distribution work has to be completed by May 2018. Moreover, instructions as regard to registration of eligible persons after the verification under the scheme started for the welfare of labourers of unorganized sector and for proper management of applications. Under the Religious Trusts and Endowment Department, directives regarding preparation of data base of information in connection to the temples, pujaris and land of temples besides High Court’s decisions related to the department and action taken by the districts for use of software developed for Teerth Darshan Yojana were reviewed. Information regarding ongoing preparations in the districts related to rozgar panchayat, proposed in the month of July and self-employment conventions were obtained. Review in connection to the preparations of Gram Swaraj Abhiyan was also made in the video conference. Additional Chief Secretary Panchayat and Rural Development Iqbal Singh Bains,Additional Chief Secretary Home K.K. Singh, Principal Secretary Health and Family Welfare Smt. Gouri Singh, Principal Secretary Public Health Engineering Pramod Agrawal, Principal Secretary Tribal Affiars S.N. Mishra and other officers were present in the video conference.
