Dumper hits bike, 2 youths die, one serious


Pall of gloom descends Gandhi Nagar; were returning home late night

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal An unknown dumper hit three youths under Gandhi Nagar police station late on Sunday night. Two of the youths died during treatment, while the condition of one is reported to be serious. Police have registered a case against the unknown dumper. According to the information received from the police, the youths had gone to watch a movie at People’s Mall in their bike which is registered in the name of Brajesh. At about midnight, they were returning on the bike after watching the movie. Near Asaram Chauraha close to HP Petrol Pump, a speedily driven dumper hit their bike.All the three youths were seriously injured in the accident. They were rushed to a private hospital with the help of 108 Ambulance where Brajesh, 19, son of Santosh Meena and Nitin, 19, son of Naresh Meena, died during treatment. Amit, resident of Shivaji Ward, Gamdhi Nagar, is undergoing treatment and his condition is reported to be serious.

Deceased youths were students

Parents of both Brajesh and Nitin are farmers. Brajesh is student of B Com Final Year in a private college, while Nitin had entered Class-12 this year. Pall of gloom desended Gandhi Nagar after the death of youths and their family members were inconsolable. Police had registered a case and efforts were on to nab the dumper driver.
