Founders Day celebrated at St Montfort School


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal Amidst cool and pleasant morning Founders Day of St. Montfort School Bhopal was celebrated with full enthusiasm, on Monday. The day commenced with the blessings of God. Principal Rev. Brother Alex, Vice Principal Rev. Brother John and coordinator garlanded the statue of St. Louis De Montfort, which was followed by a beautiful and serene prayer dance. Students also presented a small skit on the life of St. Montfort, which was then followed by enactment of short stories showing love and concern towards downtrodden and how Montfortian philosophy and principles are imbibed into the lives of each Montfortians. The Message given by the great missionary of love and his selfless service to humanity were the highlight of the programme. In his speech Principal Rev. Brother Alex expressed that everyone should follow the path of the great founder and start with small good things of serving the needy. The programme concluded with a Sadbhavna Prarthana. Montfortians have understood their ethical obligations to be good stewards of the community in particular and nation at large and responsible trustee of the legacy of the humanity and the future generation. There after drivers and conductors who bring our students were called for a tea party and presented with gifts on this divine day. Thus it was also celebrated as helpers’ day.
