Friends of MP conclave will increase prestige to MP in World: CM


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Friends of MP will increase prestige of Madhya Pradesh in the world. He appealed people of Madhya Pradesh living in different countries of the world to extend active support in development of the state. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing cultural evening in two-day Friends of MP conclave in Indore today. Chief Minister Chouhan said that significant work has been carried out in infrastructure sector in Madhya Pradesh in last 14 years. It led to pace of development in the state. Mentioning economic capital of the state Indore, the Chief Minister said that there are excellent roads in Indore. Non-residential Indians attending the conclave have seen this. Chief Minister Chouhan said that Indore has topped in ranking of clealiness in the country. Chief Minister Chouhan said that guests have been very important person in Indian culture. He said that Government of Madhya Pradesh will extend every possible support to proposals of NRIs for development of the state. Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya said that Madhya pradesh was in the talk abroad for gas tragedy before the year 2002. But, Madhya Pradesh got special recognition due to development works carried out in Chief Minister Chouhan’s tenure. Madhya Pradesh has been leading state in agriculture thanks to getting double digit growth in agiculture in last years. In the cultural evening, the country’s famous band ‘Indian Ocean’ presented a folklore on Maa Narmada, which was praised by the NRIs.The band artists presented folk songs of different regions of the state along with Malwa.
