Godrej Appliances targeting B2B market for 'Qube'

Panaji,  Godrej Appliances is planning to take 'Qube', a portable cooling device, not only directly to customers but targeting B2B customers as well.  Addressing media in the city on Wednesday Vikram Singh, AVP and National Head, Service Revenue and Direct Sales, Godrej Appliances, said, 'We are taking this product to customers directly as well as to B2B customers. For Goa we have specific market as B2B segment is very strong. There are hotels, hospitality industry. So we will have dedicated resource who would be working with us. We will have door to door approach as well.' He said the products would now be displayed at counters in Goa so that consumers could buy them.  Mr Singh said in B2B segment mostly hotels and officers would be targeted as hotels were big market. 'We have sold 10,000 units across India and most of the units have gone to hotels because it has advantages for hotels. Rs 6999 is price for grey model and Rs 8250 for black model. Right now we have two models,' he said.  He said Qube would cater to small cooling needs, powered by the disruptive advanced solid state electronic cooling green technology making it a hallmark of sustainability as well. Given its superiority on multiple dimensions such as sustainability, efficiency, silent operation, portability, smaller form factor etc, Qube was the perfect product offerings for the hospitality industry, he said. He said the product had received very good response from customers specially hotels and people were positive about it.
