Integrated Schools

The Central Government has directed the States to integrate various types of Government schools and locate them in one campus – one school for better utilization of resources to bring improvement in education quality. The scheme is known as “Ek Parisar – Ek Shala”. The scheme being launched in the Madhya Pradesh Physical verification of all Government schools functioned in single premises has been conducted by the field officers of the School Education Department. The two schemes the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan and Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan are integrated for it. As a result complete integrated school will be set up by abolishing variance in Government schools of primary and higher secondary level. The separate schools being run for class one to 12th class will be run in the form of single schools, on this basis the total numbers of integrated schools will become 20,656 after combining 45384 schools. The teaching will be carried out by the text books of NCERT.
