Jan Gan Man played amid celebratory firing

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal A full dress rehearsal of the Republic Day Parade was organised here at the Lal Parade Ground on Sunday. Special DGP KN Tiwari inspected the arrangements for the parade and function. Shaili Thomas played the role of chief guest and hoisted the tri-colour and inspected the parade. Later, in the full dress rehearsal police band played Jan Gan Man and thereafter parade was led by sub-inspector Sunil Katare amid celebratory firing. Special Director General of Police KN Tiwari inspected the arrangements for the Republic Day Parade and function on the R-Day Parade. During the full dress rehearsal senior police officers and senior officials of other department were present. Police band presented musical parade. SI Prakash Narayan Sharma was leading Dog Squad and inspector Rakesh Kumar Gaud was leading Horse Squad. Troupes of different forces also participated in the parade.

CM to hoist flag in Guna on Republic Day

On Republic Day, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will hoist the flag in Guna. Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr. Sitasaran Sharma will hoist the flag at Hoshangabad and Deputy Speaker Rajendra Kumar Singh at Satna. Cabinet members will hoist the flag and read out the CM’s message in various districts. Shri Jayant Malaiya, Damoh, Gopal Bhargav, Jabalpur, Dr. Gaurishankar Shejwar, Raisen, Dr. Narottam Mishra, Datia, Omprakash Dhurve, Dindori, Kunwar Vijay Shah, Indore, Gaurishankar Bisen, Balaghat, Rustum Singh, Morena, Smt. Archana Chitnis, Burhanpur, Umashankar Gupta, Chhindwada, Sushri Kusum Mehdele, Panna, Paras Jain, Ujjain, Rajendra Shukla, Rewa, Antar Singh Arya, Badwani, Rampal Singh, Sehore, Smt. Maya Singh, Gwalior, Bhupendra Singh, Sagar, Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya, Bhind, Deepak Joshi, Dewas, Lal Singh Arya, Betul, Surendra Patwa, Agar-Malwa, Sanjay Satyendra Pathak, Katni, Smt. Lalita Yadav, Chhatarpur, Vishwas Sarang Rajgarh, Suryaprakash Meena Vidisha In the remaining districts, the Collector will hoist the flag and read out the Chief Minister’s message.
