IPC, Eklavya win their matches at Raja Ali Memorial Cricket Tournament

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal IPC defeated SK in a one-sided match by a margin of 155 runs on Monday at Fifth Raja Ali Memorial Cricket Tournament being played at local Babe Ali Grounds. For IPC, JP Yadav hit smashing 130 runs off only 67 balls. Yadav’s whirlwind knock included 21 boundaries including fours and sixes. Satish contributed 48 runs off 21 balls. IPC’s team won the toss and elected to bat first scoring 259 runs for loss of two wickets in 20 overs. No bowler of SK Cricket Club could capture any wicket. In reply, the SK team was all out for only 104 runs in 20 overs. Amit and Tanme contributed 35 and 33 runs respectively. For IPC, Alijar and Sandeep grabbed three wickets each. In the first match, Eklavya defeated Udan by 35 runs. Eklavya won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 197 runs for loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Ankit scored unbeaten 83 off 49 balls. For Udan, Abhay captured two wickets. Chasing victory target of 198, Udan team was all out for 107 runs. For Udan, hit 65 runs while Shubham contributed 29 runs. For Eklavya, Divyansh and Manjit grabbed three and two wickets respectively. St. Michael’s coach Samad Dad and Gufran gave the Man of Match award to JP Yadav and Ankit.
