Kalash Yatra taken out from Nageshwar Dham Mandir


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal The Kalash Yatra was taken out at 4 pm on Monday with pomp and show for Shrimadbhagwat Katha Mahotsav being organized at Shri Nageshwar Dham Mandir near Kasturba School. A total of 251 women participated in the Kalash Yatra with Kalash (pitchers) on their heads. The Kalash Yatra was led by head Yajman Shri Rajendra Pathak and Smt. Munni Pathak. They held Shri Bhagwat Mahapurans on their heads. The main attractions of the Kalash Yatra were DJ, two horses, five bands, seven umbrellas, a chariot of Maharaj Ji and another chariot. The Kalash Yatra started from Shri Nageshwar Dham Mandir Jawahar Chowk and passed through various localities before returning to Shri Nageshwar Dham Mandir. Former BMC Chairman Kailash Mishra, ex-BJP vice president Manoranjan Sharma, corporators Girish Sharma, Monu Saxena, Amit Sharma, senior Congress leader PC Sharma and large number of devotees took part in the yatra. Pandit Shri Chatur Narayan Shastri will recite Shrimadbhagwat Katha daily from April 23 to 29 from 3 pm. Nageshwar Dham Samiti president Pawan Pathak, convener Suresh Shukla, Ranvir Baghel, Santosh Prajapati, Rajiv Singh Sikarwar, Vikas Tiwari and Pankaj Mishra have urged devotees to be present.
