Kamal Nath urges minorities not to be misled by govt


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal ,Madhya Pradesh Congress President Kamal Nath has said if the minority communities take the resolve then no one can defeat Congress. Nath said this while addressing a meeting of functionaries, district presidents and workers of the party’s minority department. Nath said this election will decide the future of the society and the state. He said the names of members of minority communities are missing from the voter list. He urged the members of minority communities to get their names added in the voter lists. Kamal Nath alleged that certain government officials are in cahoots with the Bharatiya Janata Party and are working at the behest of its leaders. The Congress is keeping an eye on these officials. The party would settle scores with them eventually, Nath told media.Pointing out that 10 peasants committed suicide in the past fortnight, he charged that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is not bothered about their plight. Farmers are facing troubles in getting their produce weighed properly and it has become a cause for their suicides. Commenting on the complaint made before the Election Commission of India with regards to alleged fake voters in Madhya Pradesh, Nath described it as a deliberate act done by officials at the BJP’s instigation rather than an administrative error. He said that the Congress has demanded removal of anomalies and submitted a compact disc (CD) pertaining to 101 assembly segments. The party has sought an investigation and appropriate action against guilty.
