Kashmir Situation

Lieutenant General AK Bhatt who is executing the operation ‘All Out’ in the Kashmir has said that now there were about 250 militants are still active in the Valley and in the Army and police hit list. After Ramzan with the ceasefire the Army has launched the action within few days 4 terrorist were gunned down. General Bhatt claimed the Islamic State is virtually finished here. Now with Governor Rule in the state and assurance to Army by the Union Home Minister Mr.Rajnath Singh that there would be no more ceasefire and Army could take any action against terrorists. But during the ceasefire the terrorist come out in open to attack the Army and Police Jawans. They attacked suddenly Army Jawans on petrol duty, injured him and snatched his weapons. Now they have again gone in hiding but the stone pelters now should be dealth with separately. So far the Army attitude is that the terrorist are major target and stone pelters are minor issue and dealing with them mostly using tear gas shells. Now Army should treat terrorist and stone pelters as one and the same and not as major or minor. During the Ramzan ceasefire the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti let off more than 10,000 stone pelters and this has encouraged them to indulge in stone pelting much more than before. Terrorist attacks also increased during the Ramzan. Now Amarnath yatra has begun and the adequate measures are taken ensure safe passage to pilgrims. With military out and Governor Rule invoked in the state. The Army will not feel any impediment in action. The Modi Government and the Army should decided on the issue of stone pelters. They should be treated as par with the terrorists and should be fired during the operation against terrorists. It is very right decision of the Army that hereafter the bodies of the shot dead terrorists will not be handed over the family. Now Army will burry the slain of terrorists. When America killed Osama Bin Laden they took away his body and gave it a sea burial, on such occasion the family and supporters take out processions of the slain terrorist to arouse sentiments in the people against the Army.
