Madame Tussauds Singapore unveils Sridevi's wax figure


New Delhi, (UNI) Madame Tussauds Singapore on Wednesday unveiled the wax figure of legendary Bollywood superstar Sridevi. The statue which is a replica of late Sridevi's look in the hit Hindi film song, 'Hawa Hawai' from 'Mr India', was unveiled by her husband Boney Kapoor and her daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. On the occasion of Sridevi's birthday on August 13 this year, Madame Tussauds Singapore has announced that a wax statue would soon be dedicated to her. Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Madame Tussauds Singapore said,'We are honored to have Sridevi's family, Mr @boneykapoor and their daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor together with their close friends and relatives at the unveiling of Sridevi's wax figure at the Ultimate Film Star Experience.' Producer Boney Kapoor on Tuesday had tweeted,'Sridevi lives forever in not just our hearts but also in the hearts of millions of her fans. Eagerly waiting to watch the unveiling of her figure at Madam Tussauds, Singapore on September 4, 2019. #SrideviLivesForever.' Sridevi passed away on February 24, 2018 in Dubai due to accidental drowning.
