Medical Check-up organised at Sohankheda


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal The National Service Scheme, NSS Wing of BSSS is camping at Sohankheda Village and spreading awareness on socially relevant issues amidst the villagers. The target audience are the natives of Sohankheda, Bawaria Chorgram, Itkhedi gram etc. The team comprising of 50 students and 2 faculty members are camping there and involving the people to explain them about the policies, schemes and medical facilities being provided by the Govt. The members also organised a health Check Up Camp in collaboration with Narmada Hospital, Bhopal and facilitated doctors visit, check-up, advice and distribution of distribution of medicines to the people. NSS Oficers, Dr. Dharmendra Singh and Dr. Vandana Jain , informed that 208 villagers were benefited in this health Camp. The doctors also spoke on health related matters thus enlightening the people about various diseases and ailments. Such activities by the college opens up new avenues for students to reach out to people at a broader platform and give real meaning to ‘education”.
