MoS Rijiju flays Rahul, blames Nehru for Kashmir troubles

New Delhi, Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju on Wednesday joined issue with Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Kashmir 'problem'. "Sardar Patelji solved all other regions. Nehruji took charge of Kashmir and created more trouble," Mr Rijiju tweeted. He said thousands of people have been killed in the militancy-hit state and also that the "Kashmiri Pandits were slaughtered" while more than 1,60,000 were forced out. "Your family and party ruined Kashmir and you are accusing BJP?," Mr Rijiju wrote in reference to Congress president Rahul Gandhi's attack on the BJP for its policy in Jammu and Kashmir. In reactions to BJP withdrawing support to the Mehbooba Mufti government on Tuesday, Mr Gandhi had tweeted saying, "The opportunistic BJP-PDP alliance set fire to J&K, killing many innocent people including our brave soldiers. It cost India strategically and destroyed years of UPA’s hard work. The damage will continue under President’s rule. Incompetence, arrogance and hatred always fails". Meanwhile, Governor's rule has been imposed in the state in the wake of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti tendering her resignation.
