Movie showcases love of brother-sister relationship


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal The movie ‘Neel Parbat Ke Paar’ (Beyond the Blue Mountain) was screened under the regular film screenings at Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum ‘Ullas’. Ullas is organized every Thursday wherein the adventurous and all geners of children movies are screened. The central character of the movie Devraj is a young boy living in the foothills of a mountain. His sister Paro falls ill and the only thing that can save her is a herb that grows beyond the blue mountain. Devraj readies to undertake the perilous journey. Guided by the guardian spirit of his loving father who had died in an accident, the boy with his grandfather defies the odds and treacherous terrains to save the life of his sister. The film also stars Nasseruddin Shah. The love and warmth of a brother-sister relationship was showcased through the movie. Directed by Vivek Anand, it is a quest of a brother for his ailing sister. The movie was released in year 2002 and was produced by Children Film Society of India (CFSI).
