Madhya Pradesh State Karate Academy’s player Supriya Jatav exhibiting an impressive show at 9th Silent Night Asia Cup Championship won a Gold medal for the country.
On this achievement, Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare Yashodhara Raje Scindia congratulated Supriya. Notably, the 9th Silent Night Asia Cup championship was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on March 10 and 11.
Madhya Pradesh State Karate Academy’s player Supriya Jatav won the gold medal by giving a tough competition to other players. Supriya Jatav won the women’s 50-55 kg category and won the Asian championship medal by defeating Jayanti Kumaran by 7-6 points and won the gold medal in her name.
Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare Yashodhara Raje Scindia complimented Supriya by praising her performance. She said that we are proud of our daughters whose achievement glorified the country and the state.
It is notable that the player of the academy, Supriya Jatav, is a champion in the last seven years 55kg. She is also the gold medalist in the South Asian Karate Championship and Commonwealth Championship.
