Nana Patekar's 'Aapala Manus' to hit screen on Feb 9


Kolhapur, After blockbuster Marathi film 'Natasamrat', once again Nana Patekar will be seen in Marathi film, 'Aapala Manus' (Our Man) in a lead role, to be screened on February 9. Ajay Devgn's first Marathi production venture 'Aapla Manus', with Satish Rajwade as its director Manus, is a story of a young couple living in an urban area. The couple lives with the father of the man. They are trying to understand the complexities of their relationship and at the same time they are trying to cope with the urban life. But, some unexpected incident in their life, that changed their beliefs and way of living. An experienced actor and director, Rajwade has directed many box office hits, including Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai (2010) and its sequel (2015), Premachi Goshta (2013) and Ti Saddhya Kay Karte (2017). Devgn’s upcoming films include a Hindi-language biopic of Tanaji Malusare, the 17th-century warrior who is said to have won the Battle of Sinhagad in 1670 by scaling an impregnable fort with the help of his pet monitor lizard. Devgn is also producing the television biopic Swami Ramdev: Ek Sangharsh for the Discovery Jeet channel, starring Naman Jain in the role of the young Ramdev. Nana Patekar said, 'I was waiting for good and special script after 'Natsamrat' and I found what I wanted, in "Maruti Nagargoje" (senior police officer).
