New Delhi, The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday ruled out an alliance with Jannayak Janata Party (JJP), and has decided to contest alone for the upcoming Assembly elections in Haryana. Addressing the mediapersons, senior AAP leader Gopal Rai said,'After the Lok Sabha elections, we analysed the political situation and we have decided to contest the upcoming elections without forming any alliance in the state.'
'The state unit has been directed to maintain a report on the political conditions prevailing in the state,' Mr Rai said. The assembly elections in Haryana will be held in October 2019. The AAP and JJP fought the LS elections together on all 10 seats in Haryana, with AAP contesting on four seats while the JJP on the remaining six seats.
