No one in BJP worthy of becoming Delhi's CM: Kejriwal

06-02-2020

New Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday took a dig at BJP, saying no one in the saffron party is capable of becoming the Chief Minister of Delhi. Addressing the mediapersons, Mr Kejriwal said, 'The campaigning for the Assembly election will end after few hours. The BJP has not yet revealed its Chief Minister's face. It is now clear that no one in the BJP is worthy of becoming Delhi's CM.'

'Union Home Minister Amit Shah is saying 'give me votes and I will decide the CM', then Amit Shah ji should come and debate with me. He keeps on talking about Shaheen Bagh, I will debate on this too,' Mr Kejriwal said. He said that after this election, it will be clear that now if a leader has to win the election, he will have to work for the people, build schools and hospitals for them.

"This is the 21st century India, now it will vote on work and not on caste and religion,' he added. Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) has become a key issue in the polls. On the last day of campaigning, several rallies are lined up. Polling will take place on February 8, for 70 seats. The results will be announced on February 11.
