Plays inspire people to combat thalassemia, make city clean


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal The audience took the resolution to make Bhopal no. 1 in cleanliness and to free the city from thalassemia by burning the flashlight of their phones. They took this resolve after the dramas “Blood Deficiency” and “Clean Bhopal” were presented by Sindhu Sena at Shahid Bhawan auditorium. To create awareness for thalassemia the drama Blood Deficiency was performed. The writer of the drama was Ashok Manwani and the director was Kavita Israni. In the drama it was shown that for the marriage as the Kundli Matching is important likewise blood sample matching is also so important so that the child should not suffer from thalassemia. It is estimated that thalassemia is spreading at very rapidly in Bhopal. A child suffering from this disease must be transfused blood in every 15-20 days. And the life expectancy of the child is uncertain. In the drama it is shown that this test is very important before marriage. In the other play some highlights were shown of clean Bhopal. In that awareness was created for the people. The guest of Sindhu Sena honoured Dr. Rakesh Golani, Ashok Manwani, Bhajanlal Ramnani for their achievements. On this occasions the actors were felicitated with shawl and shrifal.
