Post Air strike on JeM camps, PM meets President


New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday is understood to have briefed President Ram Nath Kovind, who is supreme commander of the Indian Armed Forces, about early morning attack on the terror bases in Pakistan. Immediately after the Cabinet Committee on Security meeting, Mr Modi reached the Rashtrapati Bhavan for the presentation of the Gandhi Peace Prize for the years 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Prime Minister Modi is understood to have briefed the President during the occasion.Vice -President M Venkaiah Naidu and BJP veteran L K Advani were also present. "In this operation, a very large number of JeM terrorists, trainers, senior commander and Jihadis were eliminated in Balakot," Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale told reporters here.
