Protsahan Rashi @ Rs. 400 per quintal to be given to onion producing farmers


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan during the Tendu leaf Collectors and Labourers convention held at Ujjain today has informed that Krishak Protsahan Rashi at the rate of Rs. 400 per quintal will be deposited by the state government directly in the bank accounts of the onion producing farmers. He mentioned that he will not let the farmers, labourers and hard working persons be deprived of their rights. Plot for constructing a house will be provided to each poor of the state. A law has been enacted in this connection. Chouhan further said that benefit will be provided equally to all the sections of the society under the Mukhyamantri Jan-Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana. Union Minister of Social Justice Thawarchand Gehlot was also present in the convention. In the beginning, Chouhan performed Kanya-Poojan. Narmada to be extended till Chambal CM Chouhan mentioned that the state government wishes to fill the gap between the rich and poor. Therefore, better implementation of schemes is being ensured to make poor economically and socially strong. Basic facilities like house,electricity,employment, health, education etc. are being provided to poor. Chouhan apprised them about the Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development schemes. While informing about the schemes related to the conservation and extension of rivers, he said that Narmada has already been linked with the Kshipra and work to link Narmada with Gambhir river is underway. Moreover, Chouhan mentioned that Narmada will be linked with Chambal shortly. Chief Minister congratulates Prime Minister CM Chouhan congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 4th anniversary of the Union Government. He said that India has gained respect in the world during the last 4 years under the skilled guidance and tireless efforts of Modi. 40 lakh houses to be constructed during next 4 years Chouhan said that Ujjawala, Pradhanmantri Awas and Soubhagya Yojana of the Union Government will certainly prove to be a milestone in eradicating poverty. He informed that 40 lakh houses will be constructed during the next 4 years in the state. Lays foundation of development works worth Rs. 911 crore CM Chouhan perfomed bhoomi poojan and laid foundation of development works to be undertaken in Ujjain district costing Rs. 911 crore on the occasion. He also distributed benefits of various schemes to the beneficiaries. Minister for Energy Paras Jain, Member of Parliament Dr. Satyanarayan Jatiya, MLAs Sarvashri Dr. Mohan Yadav, Dilip Singh Shekhawat, Anil Firojia, Bahadur Singh Chouhan, Mukesh Pandya and Satish Malviya, Mayor Smt. Meena Jonwal, Chairman of M.P. Minor Forest Produce Mahesh Kori, office bearers of various social organisations, public representatives and people in large number were present on the occasion. CM Chouhan met students in “Chhoo Lenge Aasmaan” programme Before this CM Chouhan reached Bajna of Ratlam district and interacted with students under the ‘Chhoo Lenge Aasamaan’ the career counselling programme. Students held conversation with the Chief Minister about education system, subject choice, and future planning. Chouhan replied to each and every query of the students. College to provide training for army recruitment to be opened Chouhan has informed students that an innovative college to provide training in connection to the army recruitment will be opened in the state. He told the students to take care while choosing subject after completion of class 12. He informed that a coaching programme will be prepared to help students in choosing their career. He advised that they should think positive as it always paves way for success. Do not distract from the target. Chouhan also planted mango sapling in girls hostel campus. Chief Minister pays tribute to Late Balkavi Bairagi CM Chouhan visited house of senior litterateur and politician, late Balkavi Bairagi at Manasa of Neemuch district and paid floral tribute to the departed soul. Chouhan expressed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul. MLAs, Sarvashri Kailash Chawla, Dilip Singh Parihar, Omprakash Saklecha, Member of Parliament Sudhir Gupta and President Jila Panchayat Smt. Avantika Jat were present on the occasion.
