CM Chouhan performs bhoomi poojan of Vidhya Bharti Shodh Sansthan

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that research work is essential for culture based education and teaching in accordance to the time. Constant research should be conducted for the objectives of education, knowledge, skill and culture. He further mentioned that practical education is must along with the theoretical education. Efforts to link livelihood with the education is need of the hour. Shri Chouhan was addressing the bhoomi-poojan programme of training and research institute of Vidhya Bharti -Central Zone today. CM Chouhan mentioned that education is not only the medium for knowledge and livelihood, but education has responsibility to prepare a cultured citizen too. Mentioning about the efforts of Vidhya Bharti for preparing cultured citizens, he said that institutions of Vidhya Bharti give good education in the financially weaker sections also. Lauding the quality education being provided in the schools of the sansthan, Shri Chouhan said that Vidhya Bharti is an institution formed by the society. Sentiments of devotion and cooperation are important. Mentioning about the episode of Ramcharitra Manas, he said that Lord Rama has described the cooperation of squirrel while construction of bridge as most significant. National President, Vidhya Bharti Shiksha Sansthan Shri Govind Sharma said that Vidhya Bharti is working to provide education up to higher secondary level at all the places including remote areas. The sansthan will also begin collegiate education from the next education session. Students of the Vidhya Bharti sansathan have won 150 medals including 50 gold medals at the national sports competitions. Vidhya Bharti has also been honoured with the medal for the most disciplined team. It was informed in the programme that an amount of Rs. 3.5 crore has been estimated for the construction of research center. Facilities like 12 residential rooms, 2 meeting rooms, canteen, library and teaching training center will be made available in the multi storey building to be constructed on 24 thousand square feet area. Sah Sangathan Mantri of Vidhya Bharti Shiksha Sansthan Shri Ramarawkar, President of Central region Shri Suresh Gupta and office bearers of the sansthan besides workers were present on the occasion.
