‘Sagar Sangeet Utsav’ at Sagar Public school


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal Sagar Public School organized ‘Sagar Sangeet Utsav’ - A music carnival at its Rohit Nagar campus. ‘Sagar Sangeet Utsav’ began by seeking blessings of ‘Maa Saraswati’ followed by lighting of ceremonial lamp by Guest of Honor ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ L’il Champ Swarit Shukla, Dr Madhubala Chauhan, Principal, Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar (SPSRN), Arti Khillan, Vice Principal, SPSRN and Mahesh Diwedi, Manager Administration, SPSRN. On the occasion, Pankaj Sharma, Principal, Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, Dr Jaishree Kanwar, Principal, Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar, Governing Members of Sagar Public School, distinguished guests, invitees, media, alumni, faculty members, staff, students and parents were present on the occasion. ‘Sagar Sangeet Utsav’ attracted over 1500 parents and children across city to witness the music carnival. They were welcomed by the live band performance of Sagarites comprising of school band ‘SPSRN ROOTS” who played western musical orchestra with chores on various music instruments. The entry on stage of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ L’il Champ Swarit Shukla enthralled children and parents to have a glimpse. L’il Champ Swarit Shukla associated with parents and children and with his magical voice and connected everyone with his hit numbers of Tum Jo Mil Gaye Ho..., ‘Laga Chunri Mein Daag…, Khamoshiyan…., Chala Jata Hoon Mein…. etc. Connecting with audience Swarit said that, “Parents must support and motivate their children to chase and pursue their dreams.” The children and parents got thrilled when they heard their favorite RJ Live from centre stage who entertained with a message to utilize the summer holidays in productive manner. Sagar Sangeet Utsav’ also witnessed performances of school which included mashup of Bollywood and Sufi Songs. Tak Dhum Tak Dhum Taa…, Bulia…., Sindabad the Sailor…., Ab Ke Saawan Aaise Barse…., Jiya Re…, Zoobi Doobi…. made the entertainment and fun rolling. The Western and Classical Dance performance Madhurakshak Krishan Lila and fusion all style at the center stage by students of SPSRN inspired the audience. The open food zone at ‘Sagar Sangeet Utsav’ attracted everyone to taste the yummy, snacky and delicious varieties of food which tickled taste buds from various stalls of repute. Surprises gifts to participants wrapped the ‘Sagar Sangeet Utsav’ with fun and entertainment.
