Samagra conducts cleanliness drive


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal Cleanliness is a continuous process. Therefore Samagra Jagran Samiti makes people aware on this issue by conducting cleanliness drives and distributing pamphlets. Such campaigns have been conducted in all localities of the city. According to Samagra, the sanitation campaigns aim to make the city clean and ensure that it gets top rank in the sanitation ranking. In the 82nd phase of the campaign, Samagra workers and activists conducted sanitation drive at Kasturba Market and Habibganj. On this occasion Samagra’s Yogesh Gupta said there is no dustbin in the market. So the garbage is littered all over. There is no suitable arrangement for the clearing of trash. He said the BMC staff visit the market only once in 8-10 days due to which the environment of the area is dirty. Among those who participated in the campaign included Samagra president Kameshwar Sharma, general secretary Ganesh Nathani, Hemendra Sharma, PN Pandey, Mahesh Mastani, Laxmi Lahase and others.
