The Madhya Pradesh Government is making hectic and elaborate preparation in primary and middle school education for its upcoming academic session. The Government is providing primary school in each village.
So far 27 thousand 910 new primary schools have been set up and 17 thousand 851 primary schools have upgraded into middle schools. Now there are total 83,890 primary and 30,341 middle schools in the State.
To for fulfill requirement of Right to education the State has carried out a plan to have one primary school in each village and one middle school over cluster of five primary schools.
The Government has sanctioned 10,624 new school buildings and out of it 9,209 are ready. Under the universal education programme, the percentage of primary schools have gone up by 50 percent and of middle schools by 143 percent.
The State has also launched NCERT syllabus and text books in all the Government and private high schools. In the 9th class the subjects of science and mathematics and in 11th class science and commerce subjects introduced.
At the divisions level in training will be imparted in there subjects to the teachers. All the schools will have in similar text books prepared by the NCERT. The State has made the education of one tube for all the private and government schools with the text books of NCERT alone.
