Scindia, Nath to take part in protest at CM House


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, State Congress president Kamal Nath and State Congress Election Campaign Committee president Jyotiraditya Scindia would reach CM Residence on bullock cart and gherao the CM House in protest against the skyrocketing prices of diesel and petrol. AICC general secretary and state in-charge Deepak Babaria would accompany them. Giving this information, State Congress vice president organization in-charge Chandraprabhash Shekhar said the bullock cart yatra would begin at State Congress office on June 5. Senior party leaders and workers would be present on the occasion. Meanwhile, State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) vice-president Vijesh Lunawat has alleged that the Congress is resorting to dirty politics in order to mislead people. Lunawat said development carried out by the BJP regime from 2003 to 2018 and ‘bantadhar (ruination)’ during the erstwhile Digvijaya Singh-led Congress rule from 1993 to 2003 would be the party’s major poll planks in the coming assembly elections. The BJP leader said that the Congress was aiming at winning elections through management rather than through development. The Congress is being led by Singh and Nath during coming elections and the leader duo are trying to mislead public.
