St. Michael defeat Railway Youth by a single run, enter last 4


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal In a nail biting finish, St. Michael defeated Railway Youth by a single run to enter the semifinal of Fifth Raja Ali Memorial Cricket Tournament. St. Michael won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 159 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. For St. Michael, Salman Baig and Pervez Ullah contributed 39 and 32 runs respectively. Chasing the target, the Railway Youth team could score only 158 runs and lost by one run. For Railway, Aniket and Sahil scored 52 and 20 runs respectively. For St. Michael, Arbaz Sohail and Usman grabbed two wickets each. Salman Baig was given Man of Match award for his allrounder performance. Ranji Trophy player Arshad Khan gave the award to him. On account of MPCA matches, the remaining matches of Raja Ali T20 will be played from May 4.
