State Govt respects public sentiments: Chouhan



Chief Minister Participates in Meena Samaj’s Convention

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the state government respects public sentiments. Government is making efforts to ensure rights and justice to all. He further mentioned that the Union Government will be urged to include Meena, Manjhi, Keer and Pardi communities in scheduled tribe category. Chouhan was addressing the Grand Convention of Meena Samaj held at BHEL Dushhera Maidan today. Minister of State for Horticulture Surya-prakash Meena was also present on the occasion. CM Chouhan said that the state government is making constant efforts for the speedy development. He stated that Meena samaj is a hard working community. They work with entire honesty. While informing about the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana, Chouhan informed that the support price of Rs. 1735 has been declared for wheat. The state government has taken a decision that the farmers will get Rs. 2 thousand per quintal in the state. He further mentioned that he has come to attend the programme because of the love of the community. CM Chouhan honoured the National President Karolilal Meena. He also released the souvenir of the community. Mementos were presented to the CM Chouhan and other guests on behalf of the community. The grand convention was also addressed by the National President Karodilal Mena, State President Lala Ram Meena, MLAs Meharban Singh Rawat, Smt. Mamta Meena and Ram Niwas Rawat.
