Sunderkand, Hanuman Chalisa recitation held at vishram ghat


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal A 65-feet tall magnificent statue of Lord Hanuman was installed with the people’s participation and under the guidance of Revenue Minister Umashankar Gupta at Bhadbhada Vishram Ghat last year. However, there is a general belief that vishram ghats are meant only for the purpose of performing the last rites of deceased persons. To break this myth and to create awareness among people, Sunderkand and Hanuman Chalisa recitation will be performed by employees of Vidhan Sabha at Bhadbhada Vishram Ghat on the first Tuesday of every month as directed by minister Gupta. Giving this information, Ramdayal Prajapati further informed that the Sunderkand recitation took place on Tuesday. Revenue Minister Gupta himself was present in today’s programme. Ramdayal Prajapati, Rajesh Singh, Nitin Parihar, Lilendra Maran, Mahesh Patil, Rameshwar Rai Dixit, Ranjeet Gaur, Rahul Verma, Mayank Chavan and many other workers were present on the occasion.
