The Hectic Politics

5/22/2019

Hectic political activities have started in New Delhi to work out instant power formula with the announcement of results. The leader of the Congress Parliamentary Party Mrs. Sonia Gandhi was first to call the meeting of Alliance Parties to meet at Delhi on May 23. Now BJP President Mr Amit Shah has also to convened to meeting of NDA Party leaders. The Andhra Chief Minister and leader of the Telugu Desam Party Mr Chandra Babu Naidu is first to come out to meet other alliance leaders in Delhi Lucknow, Patna, Bhubaneshwar and Kalkatta and met Mrs Sonia Gandhi, Arvind Kejariwal, Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Mayavati, Naveen Patnaik and Mamata Banerjee. In the beginning of Mody Rule he was with the NDA. He became sour over the bifurication of Andhra Pradesh carving out Telangna on the basis of region. But the breaking point came when the Modi Government had not accepted his plea to grant special status to Andhra Pradesh. The Alliance is not composite body. In Uttar Pradesh SP-BSP is separate alliance which contested against the BJP and Congress both. The SP-BSP alliance is a separate political identity. Similar is the case of Odisha. Here the ruling Biju Janata Dal also contested against both the BJP and the Congress. Even now the Chief Minister Mr Naveen Patnaik is maintaining of separate identity. He has announced that he would expand support to any political formation which would be in the interest of Odisha. The Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee even before the elections organized a alliance meeting at Kolkatta and heralded the fight against Modi and his BJP. During the campaign she targeted Modi and called him “Goonda” and she would like to slap him. It is Mamata Banerjee who routed the Communist Party and its Rule from the West Bengal. The Communist Party is disintegrating fast and under voluntary liqudation. Mamata Banerjee will not join alliance or any combination which has Communist on it. In the 39 seats Tamil Nadu will be divided among the 2 Dravidian Parties the Anna DMK and the Karuna DMK. The both are never in one alliance and it will reflect in the two political combination at Centre. The exist polls have given only 2 seats Congress on largest 80 seats of the Uttar Pradesh. Here according to exist poll the BJP will have around 40 and SP-BSP alliance around 20 seats. To lead the alliance the Congress must be largest single party among the alliance partners. The EVM is still a big issue. But on political level or at the level of the Election Commission of India nothing can be done in the matter. Now it is under the Supreme Court of India to decide the issues on various petitions the case. The other day the a group of technocrats filed a petition in the Supreme Court playing 100 per cent maching of voting and the VP Pet. The Supreme Court rejected it and maintained that only 5 per cent can be matched.
