Third Front Conclave

The swearing-in ceremony of Congress-JDS Coalition Ministry headed by the minority party leader Mr.Kumaraswami became a routine constitutional formality of installation of the ministry. It was just a sort of invitation of all the leaders of different political parties to meet and decide about forming a Third Front with electoral alliance to enter Lok Sabha elections of 2019 to oust the Modi Government from the Centre and in states that are going to polls by the end of this year in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram. It is not a new phenomenon in the Indian politics, when Congress as a monolith party was ruling all over the states and at the Centre the Opposition parties formed anti-Congress alliance. Such alliance give joint fight by fielding one candidate to avoid the multi-corner contests. But such alliance are not guarantee of sure win but a move in that direction. The Karnataka Affairs gave chance to non-BJP parties to come together. In Karnataka perhaps under the strong pressure of Mr.Yeddurappa adopted a single largest party formula, which do not have even the thin majority over the Congress-JDS Allaince which is clear cut majority. The Modi Government of the BJP for itself worked out a combined alliance formula to form majority in Goa and Manipur over the single largest Congress Party. In Bihar the RJD of Laloo Yadav was largest single party over the BJP and Janata Dal United of the Nitish Kumar. Never before any other Central Government adopted such a shameless partiality in the constitutional matter of ministry formation. At Bangaluru on the event of swearing-in ceremony all the political stalwarts of different political parties Mrs.Sonia Gandhi and Congress President Mr.Rahul Gandhi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banarjee of Trinamool Congress, Kerala Chief Minister Mr.Pinarai Vijayan, and Mr.Sitaram Yechury of the CPM, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Mr.Chandrababu Naidu of Telegu Desam Party, Telanganga Chief Minister Mr.Chandrashekhar Rao, Delhi Chief Minister Mr.Arvind Kejriwal, Mr.Mulayam Singh Yadav and Mr.Akhilesh Yadav of Samajwadi Party,Mr.Tejeshwini Yadav of RJD, Lok Dal leader Mr.Ajit Singh, DMK President Mr.Stalin have gathered. It shows that a grand political anti-BJP alliance is coming into existence to challenge BJP at coming Lok Sabha polls. The BJP May have to pay a very heavy price for its folly and dishonesty and immoral act in Karnataka ministry formation. Mr.Ram Lal as Governor of Andhra Pradesh played a very dishonest such role in ignoring the majority of Mr.NT Rama Rao and gave chance to minority leader Mr.Bhaskar Rao to form Government. Similarly the Governor of Goa Mr. Bhanu Pratap Singh ignored the valid majority claim of Mr.Pratap Rane and dismissed him. Both these Governor were immediately removed from the office. The Karnataka Governor Mr.Vaju Bhai Wala should have sacked by now but he is still holding office. The Modi Government has lost the moral right in the Karnataka politics.
