Tripura CM to inaugurate ICBM 2020 at Central University

Udaipur (Tripura), Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb will inaugurate the 1st International Conference on Business Management (ICBM 2020) tomorrow here at Tripura University. N.C. Debbarma, Minister of Tripura, Ashok Sajjanhar, Anup Kumar Mudgal, Halim Khan, Pooran Chandra Pandey are among the other dignitaries who have assured that they would attend the program. Though it is recorded that a large number of unemployment is recorded here in the economic review of Tripura published by govt. of Tripura which is 7 lakhs and more but there is a solution to remove the problem of unemployment in our Tripura because there are many opportunities to start a business.

According to the renowned business adviser, the problem of unemployment is not a big issue and it can be solved through business. The Northeastern state Tripura is such a state in which the SEZ (Special Economic Zone) will be started in order to function very shortly in the Sabroom area of South Tripura district.
According to the decision of the Central government of India, the state will be the gateway to Northeastern states. In order to implement the role of the Central government, the state government is doing level best for the development of the state with an eye to solving the problem of unemployment in Tripura.

Industrial development in the Northeastern region has been growing at a slower pace compared to the rest of the country. However, Northeastern states have immense potential in contributing towards the nation’s economy due to availability of natural resources like Petroleum & Natural Gas, Hydropower, Coal, Rubber, Silk, Bamboo, Fruits, Tea and Spices. Industrial Development is dependent on carving the right marketing strategies backed by robust supply chain and manufacturing excellence models.

For first time the Department of Business Management, Tripura University is organizing 3 days International Conference. The Moto of titled is “Industrial Development in the North Eastern Region- challenges and Opportunities” on 27-29 February 2020, sponsored by North Eastern Council, Ministry of DoNER, Govt. of India.

A total of 10 members and more is coming to the conference from Bangladesh to attend the program. A section of reputed academicians from Bangladesh has informed this type of conference meaningful and relevant in view of increasing the relation between Bangladesh and Tripura in the future. Tripura will develop by using the proper coordination and cooperation of the Bangladesh government. It is expecting by the expert team that these types of a conference organized by the Department of Business Management at Tripura University are so important for maintaining the International relationship between Bangladesh and India too.
