Two ophthalmic equipments dedicated at Sewa Sadan Hospital


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal Hong-kong based philanthropist Pradeep Balani on his 50th birth day donated two ophthalmic equipments to Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital. These equipments were later dedicated in a function held here on Monday. The cost of these equipments is Rs. 8 lakh. Balani also sponsored a free eye camp in which 35 patients from Sanchi and Deewanganj came for their cataract surgeries. Philanthropist Pradeep Balani also assured to give financial assistance to Jeev Sewa Sansthan for the marriages of 25 girls of poor families. On the occasion Pradeep Balani told that the charity works undertaken in the hospital are meaningful for downtrodden. He desired that these works should be continued in future also. His daughter Lavisha said that she has a different kind of experience to see these activities. Lavisha further told that she was very much inspired to see the services’ spirit of volunteers. Nikita, wife of Pradeep, also lauded the politeness and services of volunteers. Later the couple distributed fruits to eye patients admitted in the hospital. Trustee Mahesh Dayaramani said that the worldwide disciples of Paramhans Sant Hirdaramji treat this suburb of the capital Sant Hidaram Nagar as a pilgrim and their spiritual home. He said that those who serve the eye patients would always be blessed by the almighty God. Medical Director Prerna Upadhayaya said that without these ophthalmic equipments, preliminary investigation of eye patients is not possible. With the help of these new equipments now error-less investigation of eye disease is possible. She further added that with the blessings of santji and untiring efforts of management, the hospital is on the path of rapid progress. At the end, patron Tejumal Dhanwani felicitated Pradeep Balani by presenting him shawl, shrifal. On the occasion trustee Heero Gyanchandani, Heero Keswani, Ramesh Rajani, A.C. Sadhwani, president of Sindhi Panchayat Saboo Rijhwani, senior volunteer Bhambharam and Bhagwan Babani, philanthropist from USA Arjan Daryanani were also present. Programme was conducted by hospital administrator Bharat Chawla.
