Working style of development auhorities to be efficient

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal Minister for Urban Development and Housing Smt. Maya Singh said that the State Government has taken a decision to make the authorities’ working style efficient. In this series, the estate management and disposal rules of the authorities will be made more transparent. This will benefit the authorities and the consumers both. She said this in a review meeting of Development AuthoritiesSmt. Maya Singh further said that several beneficiaries’ oriented schemes have been started by the Union and State Government to provide house to each houseless family of the state till 2022. ‘Mukhya Mantri Awas Yojana’ and ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana’ are being executed by the urban bodies. In connection to this, the government intend to give pace to the housing projects being constructed by the Authorities and Housing Board. She mentioned that expenditure rules being followed in the authorities should be made according to the prevalent conditions and market demand. This will help speedily redressal of pending projects and properties of the authorities. Moreover, this will strengthen economic condition of the authorities and will help improving the image of the government agencies. Along with this, small consumers and big investors will be benefited. As a result, the big investor of the real estate business will attract towards the state and a strong infrastructure could be made in the state. Smt. Maya Singh gave directives to organise separate meetings of big development authorities like Gwalior, Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur at Bhopal. She laid emphasis to solve the dispute between the residents of Yatayaat Nagar, Shatabdipuram, Gangavihar Colony of Gwalior and Gwalior Development Authority in a positive manner. Principal Secretary Urban Development and Housing Vivek Agrawal, Additional Commissioner Smt. Manju Sharma, Chief Executive Officers of the Development Authorities and Officers of the Town and Country Planning were present in the meeting.
