Hong Kong, June 26 (UNI) An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted Nicobar Islands in the Indian Ocean at 01:24:14 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 8.02 degrees north latitude and 90.42 degrees east longitude.
