Rahul Gandhi showed the mirror to Modi in parliament: Pawan Khera

Dharamshala, July 3 ( UNI) Congress will now fight to save the Hindu religion from the clutches of BJP leaders, who have no idea of the faith, All India Congress Committee ( AICC) spokesperson Pawan Khera said here on Wednesday.

He said BJP should first understand Hindu religion, then only propagate it

Khera accused BJP of spreading the :poison of hatred” among different sections of society, and assured that Congress will keep cleaning up things.

“Lord Shiva is with us who drank poison and became the Neelkanth and protected the world,” he said.

Khera said BJP even objected to showing the photograph of Lord Shiva in parliament.

He criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not supporting the hill state financially during last year’s natural calamity when property worth crores of rupees was destroyed and many lives too were lost.

Khera said on one hand Modi claims that Himachal was his second home but at the time of crisis he left the state in the lurch.

He alleged the BJP thrusted the byelections on the state which is burdening the state exchequer and ultimately is a burden on tax payers.

He ridiculed former BJP chief JP Nadda without naming him for describing Modi as God. and said he was rewarded with a ministerial portfolio.
