New Delhi, Aug 31 (UNI) Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will be on a three-day visit to the United States from September 8, where he will interact with students and academics at the University of Texas as well as experts from various fields.
In a video message, Chairman of Indian Overseas Congress Sam Pitroda said, “Since Mr Rahul Gandhi had become the Leader of the Oppostion, I as Chairman of the Indian Overseas Congress with presence in 32 countries has been bombarded with request from Indian diaspora, diplomats, academicians, businessmen, leaders, international media, and many others for interactions with the former Congress President. Now, he is coming to the US for a very brief visit.
“Rahul Gandhi ji will be visiting Dallas, Texas on the 8th September and Washington DC on the 9th and 10th September. The Indian Diaspora which includes our NRI brothers and sisters, technocrats, Business leaders, students, media fraternity and political leaders are eager to welcome Mr Rahul Gandhi ji and have interaction with him,” Pitroda said.
He further said, “A lot of events have been planned for Rahul Gandhi. We look forward to this visit”.
