Last Date for Teacher Selection Exam Applications Extended to March 20
The last date for applications for the 2024 Madhya Pradesh Teacher Selection Exams (for Secondary Subject Teachers and Primary Teachers in fields like sports, music, and dance) has been extended to March 20. The earlier deadline was set for March 17. The Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board (MPESB) has issued a notification regarding the extension. However, only candidates who have received relief from the High Court are eligible to apply. Guest teachers had previously submitted requests to the MPESB and the Commissioner of Public Education Directorate in Bhopal to extend the application deadline. Sunil Singh Parihar, the State President of the Coordination Committee, mentioned that hundreds of guest teachers have ongoing cases in the court, and the recent three-day holiday during Holi prevented them from applying. P.D. Khairwar, the founder of the organization, stated that if decisions are made against teachers with 40-50% qualification marks, they would appeal to the double bench.
