Mumbai, Apr 11 (UNI) The Rupee on Friday rallied 64 paise to close strong at 86.06
against USD, on brisk selling of US Dollar from foreign banks and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit advanced 69 paise to 86.01 in the opening session. Till the end of the session, it declined slightly from the opening level to finish at 86.06, up 64 paise as compared to its last close.
The domestic unit surged on a weak Dollar against other world currencies amid a strong equity market.
The Rupee recorded intra-day high and low at 85.94 and 86.12 respectively, dealer added.
