Moscow, Sep 15 (UNI) Russian air defense systems eliminated 29 Ukrainian drones over the Bryansk, Kursk, Smolensk, Oryol, Belgorod, Kaluga and Rostov regions overnight, the Russian Defence Ministry said on Sunday.
“During the past night, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks using aircraft-type UAVs [unmanned aerial vehicles] against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted. Air defense systems on duty destroyed 29 Ukrainian UAVs, of which 15 were shot down over the territory of the Bryansk Region, five over the Kursk Region, four over the Smolensk Region, two over the Oryol Region and one each over the territories of the Belgorod, Kaluga and Rostov regions,” the ministry said in a statement.
No information has been provided on damages or casualties.
