Bhopal: In the NITTTR campus Prof. Sanjay Agarwal and Rachna Gupta planted 5 saplings grown from a mango tree planted by their mother late Saroj Agarwal at home. Late Saroj Agarwal was very conscious about the environment and she had planted various trees and plants at her home. On this occasion, Institute Director Prof. C.C. Tripathi said that today’s program is a true tribute and respect of a person towards his mother. “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” is a very meaningful and sensitive campaign. We all should also take the responsibility of regularly monitoring the growth of these planted saplings.
Vandana Tripathi said that this is an emotional moment for the family when the saplings grown from the tree planted by the mother’s hands are being planted by the family in mother’s memory. On this occasion Prof. Sanjay Agarwal’s family members were also present.
